Shampoo Bars

Naturally clean & healthy hair without chemicals or plastic bottles! Vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, phthalate free, & detergent free. Convenient, easy for travel….men love shampoo bars!

4 oz bar

Directions: Simply wet hair & either apply the bar directly to the hair, or work up a lather in your hands & apply lather to the hair. Rinse well avoiding contact with eyes. For a longer lasting bar, keep it “high & dry” between uses. A well draining soap dish is perfect!

Please note……shampoo bars have a learning curve. Your hair now has many layers of chemicals from commercial shampoos & some (not all) people go through a “crappy hair” period for a few days. Hang in there…it gets better fast & you’ll be amazed at how healthy & squeaky clean your hair will feel! You’ll also have to wash your hair less often.

Silicons in commercial shampoos make your hair artificially beautiful.  It's hard to rinse off, so it stays on the hair shaft.  If you have been using commercial shampoos, which are basically detergents and surfactants & switch to a shampoo bar,  the "buildup" on your hair is not being reinforced & you may go through a few bad hair days as the coating breaks down.

An Apple Cider Vinegar or lemon juice rinse may be used if you have hard water.  It helps for a clean rinse.  Put a bit of ACV or lemon juice in a cup, fill with warm water, pour over your hair after your water rinse.  Rinse well.    Some people do not like the final rinse with ACV but prefer another type of vinegar or lemon juice.  Whatever works for you is good!  Your hair will also benefit if you can do your final rinse with cool or even cold water.  Some still use their regular conditioner on the hair ends during the transition period….you’ll find it’s not needed later! :)
